Some 6000 of our volunteers will visit BC neighbourhoods this fall. Our local events will run in various communities in the week leading up to collection day…

Want to be a collection volunteer?

If you would like to volunteer by taking on a collection route or in some other capacity, please contact the District Food Drive Chair in your area. Find the list under the contact menu. For those in the Vancouver area (Burnaby, Coquitlam, New Westminster, North Vancouver, Sechelt, Squamish, Vancouver, West Vancouver)… If you are interested in helping out please visit JustServe.org. JustServe.org allows you to search for volunteer opportunities in your area, where you can sign up to help with the BC Thanksgiving Food Drive.

Provide Material Support

Can you donate even if you do not receive a donation bag at your home?

We have not yet reached the point where we are able to deliver donation bags to every address in the communities where we operate. If you would like to contribute non-perishable food items but have not received a donation bag at your home please free to drop off a donation at your local food bank. Many grocery stores are also accepting donations for food banks.

Is your company interested in contributing material support?

If you represent a company or other group willing to contribute material support to the BCTFD event in your own community (such as bags, flyers, advertising, or transportation services), please contact your local District Food Drive Chair to discuss specifics.
